Description
Avelis (Ave + Felis) or Little Griffins- whatever you want to call them.
They're original in the right that I've customized them, but anyone can make one due to their griffinness.
Please tell me though - I'd like to see them <3
They grow to about 20 centimeters at the shoulder maximum, while being 5 centimeters tall at the smallest. They tend to range between 10 to 15 centimeters in height on average.
Their bones are hollow - allowing them to fly like birds, while having the same structure as a cats, except in their forelegs. Their wings stem from their shoulder blades.
An evolutionary trade off for wings caused them to only have three digits on their forelegs, and these are scaled and often equipped with claws.
These are used for gripping and for defense.
